Olde English Babydoll Sheep Return to The Landing
4/24/12 - We are proud to announce that a small flock of our Olde English Babydoll Sheep will again spend the summer at the historic Minnesota Landing. This is the second year that our Olde English Babydoll Sheep will be guests at The Landing. This year they are being joined by a pair of Guernsey Heifers as well a large assortment of heritage chickens and ducks.
The Landing is an 88-acre living history museum depicts life in the Lower Minnesota River Valley from the 1840s–1890s with authentic 19th-century buildings, demonstrations and a scenic river trail and overlook. The sheep we provided will be a living example of how the early Minnesotans raised sheep for wool and food.
